Friday Night Entertainment Cruises

Sunset Entertainment cruises are normally scheduled on select Friday evenings, June through September. Your "three-hour tour" includes a live band, dinner and dancing, with your favorite beverages are available at the onboard cash bar during the cruise. Board at 6:30, depart at 7:00pm and return at 10:00pm. See our Cruise Schedule page for information and dates available. Tickets are just $30 per person. Groups welcome!

Need a special date? We may be able to set a date for a Friday Night Sunset Cruise that accommodates your party with a commitment of 50 or more passengers. Call Michelle at (989) 893-0251 for details.

Free Narrated History Cruises

Have a group? Looking for a great way to relax amid a day of visiting Bay City's beautiful downtown area? Bay City Boat Lines will offer luncheon cruises aboard the Islander on select dates. Our narrator will also be present to give you an overview the Saginaw River History while you relax on this mid-day cruise. Dates will be listed on our Tour page.

Private Charter Reservations

Did you know you can rent the Princess Wenonah or Islander just for your own special event? Bay City Boat Lines accepts private reservations during the day or evening seven days a week on both of our vessels. Complete bar and catering service is available for your party and we can help you book entertainment, too. Our reservation office is open year-round for private charters. General Information

Explore historic Bay City from the decks of our popular river tour and excursion boats. Operating seasonally, the Princess Wenonah and Islander offer regularly scheduled river tours with live narration in addition to special events such as sunset cruises, picnic excursions and more. We would be happy to host your private event as well, and are now accepting bookings for corporate and private parties, wedding receptions, luncheons, etc.

Regular river tours leave the downtown Bay City dock from mid-June through August and follow one of two routes: North to the Saginaw Bay or South to the Zilwaukee Bridge. Each 2-hour tour features live historical narration. Chips, candy and beverages are available for purchase on the vessel. Restroom facilities are located on the upper deck.

We ask that all children be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and that groups of children be chaperoned by one responsible adult per three children. To see a current schedule and find out how to obtain tickets go to our River Tour Information page.

Sunset cruises, color tours and other special events are scheduled as our bookings permit. Please telephone our information and message line at 989-891-BOAT for an updated lising of events.

The Princess Wenonah and Islander are available for charter on an hourly basis. We are a licensed bar facility with full beverage service, bartenders included. Hors d'oeuvres, luncheon and dinner catering menus for private charters available upon request. Live musical groups are welcome to perform for your function. Banquet tables are available for rent, seating is provided on both decks.
